cosa ha fotografato curiosity a sol 2240?

come immaginerete sono un avido curiosone del sito nasa che trasmette ogni giorno le foto dei rover in funzione su marte (opportunity, dal 2004, che per ora sembra non dare segnali e curiosity, dal 2012, che sembra aver risolto alcuni problemi di natura tecnica che lo hanno fermato per qualche tempo) e così, senza voler fare alcun sensazionalismo, vi posto queste immagini in sequenza scattate da una delle telecamere del rover curiosity su marte il 24 -11 -2018 in ordine decrescente…

in realtà le foto sono molte di più, ma per far sintesi ne pubblico solo alcune per ricostruire la sequenza temporale delle stesse e dello strano fenomeno che hanno ripreso, ovvero la formazione progressiva di questi strani granuli che paiono

1) vapore di acqua che trasuda dal terreno e si condensa in particelle di ghiaccio

2) vapore atmosferico che si deposita in ghiaccio sul terreno a causa del peso

3) anidride carbonica condensata in ghiaccio

ed in tutte e tre le ipotesi l’origine del fenomeno che pare potersi attribuire alle basse temperature esterne verso il tramonto (di seguito i dati della stazione di  monitoraggio del rover per il sol/giorno in esame)

ora la bassa pressione del pianeta non dovrebbe consentire un simile fenomeno, dovendo i liquidi sublimare, così mi faccio una domanda?..
 
quale specifica condizione ha fotografato curiosity e si tratta, come pure immagino, di qualcosa di speciale che andrebbe analizzata meglio (come sono certo sta accadendo), anche se l’attenzione di tutti noi era giustamente ed ovviamente sull’atterraggio della sonda insight, piuttosto che sul certosino lavoro di questo rover alle pendici del monte sharp?
 
marte ci mostrerà altre sorprese a breve, ne sono certo
