| (AGR) – Su proposta dell’assessore all’Agricoltura, Vincenzo Viti, Il provvedimento ha fatto seguito alle agitazioni delle scorse settimane da parte degli agricoltori del Metapontino, agli incontri con i rappresentanti delle organizzazioni professionali agricole, e al vertice del 27 ottobre tenuto a Matera su iniziativa del prefetto, Giovanni Francesco Monteleone, cui hanno preso parte l’assessore Viti, il presidente della Provincia, Franco Stella, i sindaci del Metapontino e gli agricoltori. Nella riunione in Prefettura era stata analizzata la debolezza del settore provato oltre che dalla crisi economica globale anche dalle ininterrotte avversità atmosferiche quali siccità, alluvioni e grandinate. La situazione ha quindi determinato la crisi di liquidità delle aziende ed una forte debitoria verso banche, Inps e Consorzio di bonifica, mettendo così in gravi difficoltà numerose imprese. In proposito si segnala che proprio sui canoni irrigui l’assessore Viti ha concordato con l’Ente consortile una temporanea sospensione. “ Con l’adozione della delibera- fa presente Viti- a mezzo della quale si chiede al Governo un provvedimento con cui si riconosce lo stato di crisi di mercato del comparto agricolo regionale, come già avvenuto per L’impegno – continua l’esponente della Giunta- assunto il 23 ottobre a Policoro e successivamente formalizzato nella riunione in Prefettura ora attende di tradursi in un atto interministeriale da parte dei Ministeri delle Politiche Agricole, dell’Economia e del Welfare. Il presidente De Filippo che ha seguito con attenzione l’intera vicenda muoverà i suoi passi in seno alla Conferenza Stato – Regioni e promuoverà con il sottoscritto un incontro a Roma con l’intera rappresentanza dei parlamentari lucani sulla quale confidiamo per un sostegno unitario alle decisioni che competono al Governo nazionale. Inoltre con il collega Stefàno che coordina gli assessori all’Agricoltura di tutt’Italia stiamo convenendo sull’urgenza di una forte e incisiva iniziativa collegiale che inviti il Governo a prendere atto dello stato di crisi del settore primario italiano, gravato da oneri che non è in grado in questo momento di sostenere e che impediscono di utilizzare i benefici finalizzati agli investimenti produttivi e i processi di ammodernamento. E’ assurdo che mentre in tutta Europa i Governi si muovono riconoscendo la crisi che l’agricoltura reclama, in Italia si stenta a prendere atto di una situazione drammatica quale quella che è sotto gli occhi di tutti. Stiamo facendo la nostra parte ci impegneremo con tutte le energie perché le azioni che stiamo promovendo trovino un riscontro immediato ed efficace in sede nazionale. In tale quadro – conclude l’assessore Viti- faccio appello al mondo agricolo lucano affinché marci unito per dare il maggiore apporto e forza possibile alle Istituzioni regionali”. |
